I sing Pop success
Dear Parents and Carers,
I Sing Pop was a super evening, it doesn’t seem that it was a week ago now! The children had a lovely time and were well behaved in the Cathedral before the concert. It was commented on how polite and well-mannered they were! It was a long day and I am sure that the children were glad that it was the weekend. We are looking forward to receiving the CDs and we will send them out as soon as they arrive to those of you who have ordered them.
Class 2 also had a fantastic day at the Corinium Museum last week and again they were commended for their behaviour on the day. They also enjoyed making a dance about the Romans and Celts on Tuesday. We are looking forward to hearing all about it in their assembly next week and watching their dance as well. All parents are welcome to come and watch Class 2 assembly on Friday 31st.
It was lovely to see you all at parents evening this week. If you were unable to make it, please contact your child’s class teacher to make an appointment.
Remember that clocks go forward this weekend, so we lose an hours sleep! Have a lovely weekend.
Family Bingo Evening – Friday 31st March 6 – 8pm – Non School Uniform…
Our Bingo Evening is next Friday and we are looking forward to a great evening. We are having a non school uniform day on that day and instead of bringing a donation of £1 we ask for a donation of an Easter Egg. Many thanks.
Head Teacher Easter Raffle
Last year at the Easter Eggstravaganza I did a raffle. I am doing another this Easter for a giant stack of Easter Eggs. Raffle tickets will be £1 a strip. I will have some able assistants selling at the end of the day and will draw the raffle at the Whole School Cake Café on the last day of term.
Friday 31st is also when we are going on our annual walk. Last year we saw the bluebells and this year we are going to see the daffodils. Please can you make sure that your child has a waterproof coat and wellies in school on that day. If you would like to join us on our walk that would be great too! Just see your child’s class teacher if you are available. Please could you provide you with an extra snack for the afternoon and a drink as we will stop half way round for refreshments.
