Welcome to RPA Pre-School

Exciting News for Redmarley's EYFS!

We are thrilled to announce that Redmarley is expanding with a brand new EYFS classroom set to open in September 2024.

Our school is proud to offer a Pre-school facility for children starting from the age of 3, subject to availability. Please note that children MUST be in their "Pre-School Year".

Integrated Pre-school and Reception

Our Pre-school is integrated into Class 1 along with our Reception children. The classroom is designed with dedicated zones that provide an engaging and fun learning environment, allowing children to explore and understand the world around them.

Outstanding Outdoor Facilities

We have a garden area equipped with a mud kitchen, loose parts, digging areas, water play, and opportunities to develop gross motor skills. These spaces are designed to ensure children can run, play, and explore safely and joyfully.

Smooth Transition to Reception

Attending our Pre-school will give your child a seamless entry into reception, as they will already be familiar with the routines and systems.

Play is central to our curriculum, complemented by small group work that lays a solid foundation for their future education. Children build strong relationships with our staff, boosting their confidence and independence as they prepare for reception.

Focus on Prime Areas of Development

We emphasise the three prime areas of development: personal, social and emotional, physical, and creative. These areas are crucial for early learning and are supported through activities that enhance communication, language, and literacy skills. Our resources are designed to be accessible and adaptable to support each child's progression.

Practical Information

Children do not need to be fully toilet trained, though we recommend avoiding nappies due to limited changing facilities. Pull-ups are a better option if needed.

We accept Early Years funding of both 15 & 30 hours, subject to entitlement through HMRC.

Additional hours are available at £6.00 per hour, invoiced at the end of the month.

For lunch, children can bring a packed lunch from home or opt for hot school dinners at £2.35 per meal.

Snacks, including fruit, milk, and toast/crackers, are provided and invoiced monthly.

Contact and Further Information
